CREPE LUXE is a dyeable material that is the opposite of satin as it has a much lower sheen. This
material is refeered to as "crepe" or "luxe" and sometimes "crepe luxe" which is how we will refer to it. White crepe luxe is a muted
dyeable material so you can match up most any color special occasion dress. Sometimes dyeable shoes will be made with satin and a
highlight of crepe luxe or vice versa which gives off a beautiful contrasting look. Crepe luxe dyes well but always looks best in
medium depth to light shades. We recommend satin shoes when you intend to have them dyed to a dark color. Crepe luxe dyeable shoes
and bags replaced the previous industry standard material known as "peau de soie." Peau de soie was dull in appearance while the
crepe luxe material has a low sheen.
